Hey Guys,
So with easter being finished with, and I having finally finished eating all easter eggs, I thought it was time to start eating healthy, a diet if you like. With the summer drawing near and the bikini waiting to be put on while i'm on holiday, I knew it was time for a change. So starting today, I have been eating all organic and as fat free as possible.
Cutting out the bad bits:
First of all I have cut out all unhealthy foods such as: chocolate, biscuits, cake, crisps, ice-cream, sweets, e.t.c. Basically all the good stuff, however if I do feel the urge to eat foods such as these goods, I just think to my self 'Do I need this?' and of course the answer will be no. However so that I don't forget the deliciousness of chocolate, I have a bag of Lindt chocolate eggs left over from easter which I can turn to if I really need a piece of chocolate. Obviously I will not eat them all at the same time, just 2 a week perhaps, give or take a few depending on the mood I'm in.
I have also looked at what are the most unhealthy foods. These are things such as bread, cheese, butter, chips, pasta, and rice. Foods like this I am just going to have small amounts of.
Also meats,if you eats too much meat, you can easily put on weight, so I am eating much smaller portions of meat, and swapping the large portions of meat, for a smaller portion of meat and a salad.
What I want to gain... or in my case loose:
At this moment in time I am not quite happy with my body, as some parts of my body such as my stomach, thighs, and face are getting fat from all of my junk food eating and lack of exercise. Eventually I would like to loose some weight in all areas I just mentioned, and also start to tone my muscles by exercising more often. Also as well as loosing weight, I would just like a healthier lifestyle. One reason for this is because yesterday I went to watch my Uncle run the Brighton Marathon, he did manage to run the whole 26 miles- and now he has inspired me to one day run a marathon. I do want to try and get a summer body ready for when I go on holiday to Greece, however I also want to maintain a nice body in the longterm, and have more body confidence, as I am seriously not confident the way I look.
Hopefully I will be able to make more posts to do with health, fitness and diet soon!
What do you think of this post?
Have you tried something like this before?
Thanks for reading!
