Review: Soap and Glory, The Righteous Butter

I have never really bought any products from Soap and Glory, as I always thought that they were overpriced, and I didn't really understand peoples craze for them.  One day I was buying some products for my mum for mothers day in boots, and there was a 3 for 2 offer on skin care, which meant I could get half of my mums present for free if I bought another product. I immediately thought "SOAP AND GLORY!" There wasn't much of a choice of soap and glory, so I picked up The Righteous Butter.

When I first opened it up I was shocked at how much product you actually get, because you get so much for £11. The pot is so full, and you only need a small amount each time you use it!

It works so well! Just a small amount applied to your arms, legs, or wherever on your body- and your skin will be so smooth! I was amazed at the quality of this product, and the smell! It smells so nice!

Soap and Glory say: 'A body moisturising formula so virtuous, you might swear you're wearing velvet'
I wouldn't go as far as velvet- but this body butter definitely does the job, and makes your skin super soft!

I usually apply this moisturiser after applying fake tan, as it keeps the tan on, and takes the smell away of the fake tan! To make the skin softer, don't completely rub in the butter, and leave to sink into your skin! I have very dry skin, so this perfect for me. I hope to try more soap and glory products in the future.

NOTD 12/5/2013

So I thought I'd do a NOTD post today, as this is the first time I've painted my nails in a while.

I am wearing the Miss Sporty nail polish in 'Blue Bath' from the 'clubbing collection'

I love this colour, as it is super summery colour, and it is a quick dry nail paint, so is great for people like me who are impatient when doing nails!

All for now!

A day in the life: 5/5/2013

Hey Guys,

So I was extremely prepared, I had taken many pictures and was going to do a huge blog post about Duke Of Edinburgh, and how to survive it, what you have to do, what to take with you. But it all went wrong. I hated it so much. The walks were all too long, I badly hurt my ankle and back, someone ended up in hospital, someone got driven home, and someone fainted. Not a good DofE weekend. I felt that I did not want to talk about it, as I detested it so much, so I thought I would just do an Day in the life blog post, as I haven't done a post in over a week, and I had nothing else planned to blog about.

So on Sunday I had a dance show, which I really enjoyed!

I woke up at the campsite (still at Duke Of Edinburgh) at 5:30, and since I was leaving early to do my dance show, I gave my best friend my breakfast as she had another day of walking still to go!I had a big bar of chocolate- however everyone else ate most of it! I packed up my tent and filled my bag with all my things, just in time for my dad to pick me up from the campsite. This was at around 8:30. I said goodbye to everyone, and drove the 2 hours back home, to a warm house with clean water after 3 days! I got home, washed, and got to tech just in time. I did the tech, and managed to slip right at the end and re-damage my ankle! The tech went okay, however it still needed improving! After that we had a small break and I sat on the field by the theatre with all of my mates from dancing, and my dance teachers in the sun. I tried so hard to get a tan! Then we went back inside and watched the acts of the second show (as we were in both shows) whilst laughing at most of them, due to the comments some of my friends were making! HAHA! I sound so mean! I then went home at about 3:00, ate and was back at the theatre by 5:00. We got into the dressing room, and sorted out our costumes. Our costume scheme was denim and leopard print, (apart from the boys who just wore denim) and makeup scheme was red lips and heavy eye liner. I thought we all looked amazing! We did the first show at 6:00 and it didn't go all that well. We think this was down to the fact the technical team played the wrong song to start with, and it shook us all up a bit. After a talk from our dance teacher, and a 'pray' as we like to call it, it was time for the second show! It was much better! I enjoyed it so much! My dance teacher even said she was impressed, and that I had improved a lot! I was quite proud of myself for once!

Well done to my whole dance troop, I love you all!

That was the end of my day. My very eventful, amazing day!

Lots more posts coming soon!
