When the kids start singing and the band begins to play

A Festive Family Trip To London

So blogmas failed, due to constant revision and exams for the past week or so. I only have one exam left and will have much more time on my hands now! I apologise.

Every year, me and my family including my mum, dad, sister, aunt and uncle have a tradition where in december we take a trip to London and to something festive. This year we went to Leicester Square to watch the winter film 'Frozen' and then went for a meal at Planet Hollywood. This year we brought along my cousin Tom since his brother abandoned him by going to uni, and he had nothing to do. I have to admit, even though the film was rather cringe worthy and sing song, I enjoyed the film much more than I would have if i watched it at any other time of year. Christmas just gives me a much happier feeling about life! As usual, Planet Hollywood's food was amazing and I had a hilarious time there.

I will be doing an Outfit Of The Day post on this outfit very soon.

It is so close to christmas now!

Do you have any traditions?

Christmas Gift Guide For Her

Christmas Gift Guide

1. Snapfish photo book. This is an amazing gift for pretty much anyone, as it allows you to add whatever photos you want, you can make collages, and add captions. Me and my family use these photo books for our annual holidays. We also usually give them to my Nan filled with photos from a big birthday, anniversary, party, e.t.c.

2. Soap and Glory Gift Sets. I absolutely love these gift sets. They come in all sizes and prices, so whether you are looking for a £10 gift set or a £40 gift set, they are amazing. As a soap and glory lover I would be so happy getting even a small gift set for christmas.

3.Yankee Candle. Candles are such a good gift, especially when they are delicious, amazing smelling yankee candles. I feel as though getting 2 smaller candles rather than one big candle is better, as it means you can switch out the candles so that you don't get bored of the same scent.

4. Benefit sugalicious gift set. I am a benefit lover, and this set is ideal for any female who is a lover of makeup.

OPI Mariah Christmas Set- OPI are the best nail polished I have ever used, and so this gift set if brilliant. Especially since it is a christmas edition.

Sanctuary body set- This set is really affordable, and smells of all things nice. I know my mum loves getting sanctuary product for christmas and so will your mum.

Cath Kidston Goodies- Cath Kidston are always great gifts, whether it be for birthdays, christmas, or just a gift to say thank you! These are especially good for mums, hans, aunties e.t.c.

Ted Baker Cosmetics Bag- I love ted baker products, especially the bags with the sleek shiny finish. These are great products for anyone, as they can not only be used for makeup but for many other products such as toiletries.

I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you a few ideas to get your mum, nan, aunt, sister, e.t.c for christmas!

What is on your christmas list?

What are you buying for people this year?

Blogmas!

Hey guys, so I thought I would try and do Blogmas this year, which is basically the same as vlogmas, but for bloggers. If you don't know it is where you blog every day until christmas. I will try my best to get a blog post posted everyday, however I have my mocks next week and obviously that will take priority over bogging. I hope I do manage to post every day though!

Today I did a sponsored 10k walk to raise money for a local boy who is very close to my friend Charlotte and her family. He has Cerebral Palsy and he cannot walk. We are raising money for him so that he can go out to america and have super expensive operation which is life-changing and he will be able to walk and play football with his older brother. It was so fun, and it made me feel so good about myself!

If you want to donate to help this boys dreams come true then here is the link:

This does sound really cringey and 'samey' but meeting him today really made me want to raise money for him!

This is all I did pretty much today apart from a lot of revision for tomorrow!

That is all for today, I hope you are having a lovely 1st of december and enjoy the rest of this festive month!
Hopefully a new post tomorrow!

Wishes at christmas

So every year my parents, and the rest of my family always ask me for ideas for christmas. This year I wasn't really sure what I wanted as I got so many lovely things for my birthday, and for the past few years as I got older, I buy most of the things I want myself and so I was extremely unsure of what I wanted. I came up with a few things which I wanted, however I know I am not going to get everything, but i just thought of a few things that I would like to have. These are also some things that I am thinking of buying during the lead up to christmas.
1. Benefit Hula Bronzer - I have wanted this bronzer for so long, but I have never got the chance to buy it. I have always loved the safe, cheaper option of the Bourjois chocolate bronzer, however I really want to try something new and since this product has ALWAYS been raved about, I thought this would be an ideal thing to ask for as a christmas gift.

2. Mac Mineralise Skin Finish - I have recently really wanted a mineralise skin finish, and I thought christmas would be the perfect time to ask for one. I was going to buy one in duty free when I went on holiday, as my mum told me she would treat me to something as it was my birthday, however I fell in love with an OPI nail polish and never ended up buying the skin finish. Everyone knows how great this product is and I really want to try it out too!

3. Christmas Eve Yankee Candle -I love candles and anything that smells amazing, however I do not have much of a collection. I smelt a few candles in a christmas shop the other day and was not to keen on them, however the Christmas Eve candle by Yankee Candle was the only one that did not appear there. I heard Tanya Burr was in love with it, and I am sure I would love it too.

4. The Perks Of Being A Wallflower DVD - I rented this film out the other day on apple TV, and I absolutely fell in love with it. It is so cute, so relatable in ways, and the acting is brilliant.

5. Short Classic Tan Ugg Boots - I love how the short Ugg boots look, as I am not very keen on the ones which are long or the really short ones. I think they would be perfect for fall, winter and spring, and so I could wear them for a long time each year. They are however very pricey, but the amount I would wear them, I think this would be an amazing present, so if you are looking for a gift for girls or boys, Ugg boots are ideal!

6. Rose Gold Watch -  I would really like a watch, as I find it so hard to know what the time with since I don't actually own any decent, working watches, and since I have to restart my phone about 5 times a day, the time is always wrong. This is why I am usually late for things and I think it is about time I got a new watch! This is the reason I am asking for one for christmas.

7. River Island/Topshop cut out boots - I have seen these boots around for a few months, and I am absolutely in love with them! They are slightly pricey at £70, however they would go with a lot of outfits! I think they would look really nice with lace/frilled socks.

8. Benefit They're Real Mascara- This mascara has been out for so long, but I am yet to jump on the band wagon and try. There is not much to say, apart from the fact that everyone knows just how amazing this mascara is and I really want to try it!

9. Claires Snowflake Earrings - I would really like I nice pair of christmassy earrings to wear for christmas day, boxing day and the lead up to christmas. Since I have only just got my ears pierced and I got my ears pierced at Claire's, I figured it would be a good place to buy them from.

What is on your christmas list?

It's beginning to look a lot like christmas ☆

First Seasonal Starbucks Cup Of 2013!   |  Mocks...  |  Feeling festive in my jumper  |  My dad went to the Lyndt factory whilst in Germany and bought these back for me  |  & this chocolate coin!  |  favourite nail polishes at the moment  |  Christmassy nails  | my dad got handed out free millions in test tubes by people dressed up as scientist at this convention he went on with his work!  |

I was on the way home from physio and I really fancied a Starbucks, and so I made my mum drive round past Starbucks, so I could get myself a hot chocolate. I am not normally a 'typical Starbucks' girl, because I hate tea and coffee, but my new local Starbucks has all of the hot chocolates and I think I have a slight obsession with their hazelnut hot chocolates now!
I seriously cannot believe it is the 11th of november and I am already saying that literally everywhere I go, I am reminded of the glorious festivity that is christmas. I am slightly annoyed that everything becoming Christmassy is all so early this year, as I still have a lot of mocks, revising, and school left until I can actually enjoy the build up of christmas! I have never seen so many christmas adverts, even though it is not even mid november yet! I am starting to get the excited feeling inside so early this year, and I am so excited! Especially after I went shopping in London yesterday and I saw all the christmas lights, it was so pretty and I swear it gets prettier every year.

I cannot believe it is that time of the year again!

So i'll make whirlpools, and watch him sparkle

I'm really enjoying my life at the moment. Yes at times I get depressed, but I always have one of my friends to pick me back up when I need them. I have been having such an amazing time recently, and just trying to enjoy life for once, which kind of explains for the lack of blog posts. I have been trying to work hard at school because since this is my last 6 months, and I really want to make it count. Especially since I really want to get into a good college, and the fact that I have no idea what career path I want to take on. Anyway, I don't know about anyone else, but I am feeling so wintery and festive, especially since it is bonfire night tonight and there are fireworks going off everywhere! I went to a firework party the other night with a few of my friends, (as you can see from the pictures) and had such a good time. I can really see myself getting more sociable and more happy with my life! Sorry if you found this post boring but I really want to get into photography and I find these kind of posts a lot more interesting in my opinion!

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation Review

During the summer, my dad went away for the weekend for his annual work party/awards evening/meal where they give him accommodation, activities to do e.t.c. When he went to the party he got given a goody bag containing some really nice freebies in there including a few beauty bits and pieces. Obviously my dad didn't want the beauty things so gave them to me and my mum. I thought today I would do a review on all three of these products which he gave to me. I believe my mum got a Clinique moisturiser and a bare minerals powder. I think she got the better option don't you? I still love these 3 things that I got though. These posts are quite long, (well a lot of text anyway)  so I think I will split these posts and do one review per post.

1. Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation

I wasn't to keen on this product when I first tried it out, however now that I have gotten used to it, I really like this product. I would say since it is a very low coverage, light foundation, it is meant more for the summer when you are prone to have less redness on your face, however for people with skin similar to mine, this is great all year round as I don't get very many spots. Even though the colour is a tad too pale for me, it can't be helped since they were given out as freebies so they would not have known my skin type or colour. The foundation goes onto the skin well, and I do really like the consistency of the product. I think that with a primer, this foundation could stay on all day. A thing that I do not like about this foundation is that it does not come with a pump, so you have to pour the foundation. This can be very messy and can waste a lot of product, especially early in the mornings when you are still half asleep! Another thing I personally do not like about this foundation is that it doesn't have a high enough coverage so that I can feel confident just wearing this. I know this does defeat the point of it being 'Nearly Naked' however I think I just prefer higher coverage foundations, as I have used quite a lot of product each day building this foundation up to the coverage that I want. Overall however, this product is great. I would recommend this foundation to people just starting out with makeup, or younger users of makeup as their skin is very delicate and so they do not need such a high coverage foundation.

No Pump.

The consistency.
